Scott M. Fishman, M.D., Author

Dr. Fishman is chief of the Division of Pain Medicine and professor of
Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at the University of California, Davis.

Dr. Fishman lectures on all aspects of pain and its treatment throughout
the U.S. and has authored “The War on Pain”, a national released book
through Harper Collins Publishers and co-authored “The Massachusetts
General Hospital Handbook of Pain Management” through Lippincott
Williams and Wilkins Publishers and “Essentials of Pain Medicine and
Regional Anesthesia through Elsevir”. He has authored many peer-
reviewed articles in medical journals, book chapters and other scholarly
reviews and is the editor of the Forensic Pain Section in the journal
“Pain Medicine.”
